Spooky culture

I see that the Guardian is today featuring the highly derivative art of two Cuban secret service agents who in 2001, “at the conclusion of a controversial trial”, were convicted in the United States of espionage and conspiracy to commit murder, and are now serving lengthy prison sentences. The cultural propaganda work of spooks Antonio Guerrero and Gerardo Hernández is part of a London exhibition, and the Groan has provided us with a gushing review.

That’s quite a PR coup for the totalitarian state and its disciples in the bourgeois west.

flattr this!
