Government of the Dead premier Chris Knight, his partner Camilla Power, and a chap named Patrick Macroidan dressed as an executioner, have been detained at Her Majesty’s pleasure for conspiracy to cause a public nuisance. Dozens of police officers swooped on Knight’s Brockley home early this morning, in advance of a street theatre event to celebrate the royal wedding.
The condition of Professor Knight’s rabbit is unknown.

I came accross this blog, and to be quite honest, I am genuinely shocked and appalled that this can happen in the UK. I think it is totally out of proportion. Since when has peaceful protest become a breach of the peace? We are dangerously close to becoming a police state

It’s not violence, or the lack thereof, that bothers the state. What really upsets the state – even a democratic one – is citizens overstepping an invisible line in the sand in terms of the content of political protest. A little mindless thuggery the state can cope with, but what it will not tolerate is ridicule from anarchists.
