It looks like they will have me working 12+ hour days. My B&B is on the Onze Lieve Vrouw van Vaak Straat, which is just off the delightfully named "Abattoir Boulevard" in the Sint-Jans-Molenbeek district of the city. One thing for sure: avoid the restaurants around the Grand Place at any costs. Tourists traps all of them. And indeed, the liquid refreshment is beyond reproach, as is the food in most places save the mentioned above. I spent a lot of time in Brussels in the nineties on business, but was, fortunately, always guided by local colleagues, and my memory for places is terrible. One thing for sure: avoid the restaurants around the Grand Place at any costs. Tourists traps all of them.
