Bishop libels journalists

Stephen Venner is at the very least naïve in speaking as he did to Daily Telegraph journalists Jonathan Wynne-Jones and Duncan Gardham. But since then the British armed forces chaplain has managed to dig himself deeper into a hole of his own making by attacking the messenger.
The 1m 27s video in the second link above has been truncated. Near the end of that BBC News television interview, Venner attacks Wynne-Jones, implying that the reporter is responsible for misrepresenting his words, and thereby making him look like an idiot. From where I stand, the bishop seems perfectly capable of doing that without third party support.
