Unless I’m suffering from auditory hallucinations, George Osborne really did describe the Conservative Party as “revolutionary” in his conference keynote speech today.
British politics is getting a little too weird for my liking. Perhaps I should return to Denmark.

“Revolutionary” - how twee! Don’t the Tories know that “maverick” is the only way to be at the moment?

I think they have enough problems in that direction with Boris Johnson. The last thing the Tories want right now is politicians with personality.
BTW, Anja, welcome back from your extended hols. You and John have been missed.

We were only away for two weeks!
But it’s nice to be missed nevertheless. That’s what public ranting does for you.
