It’s terrible two for BBC blog

Silky-voiced BBC Radio 4 PM presenter Eddie Mair has just announced on air that the flagship news and current affairs programme’s blog is two today (hip hip!), and it has the mental age of yes, you guessed it a two year-old.
I see that Mr Mair is still struggling with the wonderful world of user-generated content.
A random selection from various PM blog posts of today…
“Tbird: Do you know any English pigs called Taffy and Bryn?”
“Wouldn’t it be ironic if the first contact we had from outer space was an extra terrestrial race of highly intelligent pigs..”
“Didn’t I hear on the radio just the other day that Lucille Ball grew her ’sideburns’ extra long and pulled them back very tight to give her an instant facelift? (She wore a wig to conceal what she’d done).”
“Why is it that my online purchases only offer me a chance to buy a second jiggly rabbit at half price?”
“Isn’t a backward R a ra?”
“Did they have virgins in the olden days?”
Believe me, it don’t get no better than this. Srsly.
